Maggie’s story began in Lebanon, where she was found tied to a box with one ear missing and a broken jaw. Even while pregnant, she endured a brutal attack where she was beaten and shot 17 times with a shotgun, leaving her blind.
Thankfully, a kind soul in Lebanon reached out for help, and with the assistance of The Wild At Heart Foundation, Maggie was rescued and brought to safety. However, her journey to recovery was far from over. Maggie had to undergo multiple surgeries and treatments before she was ready to find her forever home.
