Kobe, a 4-year-old Pit Bull, was not in good shape when his owner left him at a Maryland animal shelter. The poor dog hadn’t received the care he needed, but things took a turn for the better when Sean Stinchcomb and his wife Jade decided to foster him.

“When Kobe arrived at the rescue, he was underweight and diagnosed with heartworms, which we’re treating now,” Sean shared with Bored Panda. “This smiling dog has been with us for three weeks, and he has really opened up since coming to our home,” Sean added. “Kobe loves everyone he meets. He runs up to people and just melts at their feet if they start petting him and showing him affection.”

“He smiles a lot. He’s a very happy dog and loves it when you sit on the floor or ground with him so he can sit with you and get lots of love. He also enjoys yard time, trotting around the backyard and coming inside with a big smile on his face.” Hopefully, this amazing dog will soon find his forever home and become a beloved family pet!
